Lars Von Licht - Ghost End Lunch (Original)

I heard this track on Deeper Shades Of House, Lars Behrenroth's radio show, and I was really impressed. This track is very interesting to me because at first glance (or listen if you wanna be technical), it actually sounds like the vocal is off-sync with the beat, but somehow it still sounds dope and perfect. I'm not familiar with this kind of technique but I was later told that it's called "lazy" singing and it's quite common, especially in jazz music.

That's totally new to me but I must say it works very well, especially in this instance where Lars Von Licht lays down some dreamy synth string cords over a bumping beat, some brass notes for good measure and a healthy dose of bass to provide a solid piece for the vocal to work it's magic.

I've had this on repeat for a week and I'll definitely be checking for more material from the German native, Lars Von Licht and his label Sleeves.
